The Role
You will be joining a tight-knit and empowered Security + Operations function consisting of DevOps, Process, Security, and Compliance experts. This is a mission-critical role where you will take full, end-to-end responsibility for all IT Operations across the entire company.
You won't just be maintaining systems; you will be the foundational architect of our corporate technology environment, bridging the gap between security imperatives and operational reliability. If you thrive on automation, endpoint security, and leading high-impact strategic projects, this is the role for you.
Core Responsibilities
As an IT Operations Manager, you will manage, secure, and enhance all user-facing technology, IT applications and core office infrastructure for our Global workforce.
1. Endpoint Management & Security
- Administration & MDM: Take full ownership of the lifecycle management for all corporate devices (MacBooks, Windows, and Linux).
- Platform Mastery: Expertly administer Mobile Device Management solutions, specifically Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune.
- Baseline Enforcement: Design, create, and rigorously implement standardised blueprints in Jamf Pro and enforce mandatory, centralised security baselines in Microsoft Intune.
- Automation: Drive efficiency by automating repetitive tasks, particularly the end-to-end processes for device onboarding and offboarding.
2. Identity, Access, and Data Governance
- Account Administration: Manage user accounts, sophisticated permissioning structures, and document/folder sharing policies across core platforms like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Implement and continuously administer DLP policies across all document-sharing applications, user accounts, and devices to ensure sensitive data remains protected and compliant.
3. Service Delivery & Infrastructure Management
- Ticket Management: Oversee all user IT and Security support tickets, ensuring swift resolution and achieving excellence by consistently completing tickets within defined SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
- Administrate IT applications: such as 1Password, JamF Pro, MS Intune etc
- Office Hub Infrastructure: Centralize the management, maintenance, and security of the Bangkok office infrastructure, including WiFi networks, firewalls, and networking equipment, ensuring maximum security and uptime.
4. Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Administration
- ensure seamless communication and coordination during security incidents, and continuously monitoring the MDR dashboard for real-time threat detection and status updates.
- escalate incidents internally/externally as required
Strategic Projects & Key Deliverables
At its core, success is when secure compliance is the default state across the business because we’ve made it as easy as possible for team mates to do the right thing. You will be accountable for leading and executing the following strategic initiatives:
- Unified Identity Strategy: Execute a company-wide project to consolidate user logins for all devices and accounts to a single, seamless system using Google as the primary Identity Provider (IDP), enforcing universal Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Document Governance Audit: Investigate and audit all existing folder/document sharing mechanisms across the organisation. You will then propose and execute a project plan to streamline data security by rationalising access via security groups, tight permissioning, and established data lifecycles.
- DLP Solution Implementation: Lead the selection and full implementation of an enterprise-grade DLP solution integrated across all corporate document sharing applications (e.g., Google Drive, SharePoint) and devices(Macbooks, mobiles etc)
- Jamf Pro Upgrade and Ownership: Lead the project to upgrade and migrate all MacBooks to Jamf Pro, implementing standardised blueprints and assuming full operational ownership of the managed macOS fleet.
- 24/7 Threat Monitoring Partnership: Liaise with and implement a strategic project to partner with an external Security Operations Center (SOC) or Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service (e.g., CrowdStrike) to ensure 24/7 monitoring and response capabilities across all devices and core cloud applications.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven, hands-on experience in a dedicated IT Operations, Systems Administration, or Corporate Infrastructure role.
- MDM Expertise: Deep, practical experience administering and architecting solutions within Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune.
- Cloud Identity: Extensive hands-on administration experience(user accounts, security, tools etc) within Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
- Security Mindset: A demonstrable security-first approach to operations, with experience implementing SSO, MFA, and security baselines.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of IT device administration (Mac, Windows, Linux) and corporate network fundamentals (firewalls, WiFi, switches).
- Automation Focus: Proven ability with automation platforms, scripting or AI as applicable to automate tasks as far as possible and make compliance easier for the whole business.
